I recently moved to the Bay Area and was in an urgent need to see a dentist. I was so nervous to find the right dentist, and came across Vanessa Gloor DDS and took a chance to see her and boy am I glad I did! She has been the BEST dentist I’ve ever been to! She is so sweet, personable, gentle and so kind. I’ve had to come see her a few times in the matter of weeks and every time my visit has been superb! I don’t think I have ever been so excited to see a dentist in my entire life. I have recommend her to everyone I know and they have had such a great and positive visit with her and rave about Dr.Gloor. Thank you so much for your gentle hands and your kind heart. I will always be a loyal patient to her.

ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW!!! This Woman And Her Staff Are FANTASTIC. They Have Worked Hours And Hours Trying To Save My Teeth. Due To Medicine, I Lost Saliva Function. This Has Resulted In The Loss Of Enamel At The Gumline In All Of My Teeth. I HAVE NEVER HAD A DENTIST WHO WAS WILLING TO DO ALMOST ANYTHING TO KEEP ME PAIN FREE While Working Hours On Me. After Having 8 Teeth Removed, She Has Worked With Many Caregivers To Ensure I Was Being Treated Properly.  She Even Has A Health Plan To Assist Those Of Us Who Don't Have Dental Insurance. I Can't Give This Dr. Any Higher Rating. SHE HAS DONE MORE THAN I COULD HAVE EXPECTED Of Anyone. THANK YOU!!!

Because I grind my teeth sleeping, I went to Dr. Gloor for a mouth guard fitting. She had made an impression of my teeth at the previous appointment. I thought this was going to be a quick appointment just to see if the guard fit. Dr. Gloor was very meticulous in making sure the guard fit exactly as it should so I would not have issues such as headache, sensitive teeth, jaw pain. She spent an hour adjusting by filing the guard to fit my bite. The process was so labor intensive, back & forth filing and biting. It's been 3 days and I have no issues with the mouth guard. Thank you, Dr. Gloor for being so meticulous.

Dr. Gloor gave me a in depth, patient and relieving second opinion on another dentist's over prescribed interventions. I was told I needed thousands in crowns and surgical cleaning when in fact those treatments were excessive at best. I highly recommend this dentist as she's a local community member, passionate about her field, honest and you may have a chihuahua in your lap during your exam if you're lucky.

Finally a dentist as good as the family dentist from my childhood! Dr. Gloor is truly a gentle and kind dentist - great with my kids, compassionate to people with fear or aversion to dentistry. Just as important, she has integrity and does not "over-diagnose" (pretend that people need dental work that is unnecessary). When I first came to her, I had a sore tooth that I assumed would need a root canal. She tested in many ways and then informed me I just needed to have the filling filed down a little. She did this for a reasonable charge and my tooth felt fine after a few days. My kids have been going to Dr. Gloor since they were little (about 9 years ago) and they feel very comfortable with her, including my daughter who used to have a real fear of dentists. My mom just changed over to Dr. Gloor and was very happy.

Dr. Gloor is GREAT. It is difficult to imagine a better dental patient experience than the ones I have had at her office over the last couple of years. On top of being highly skilled, Dr. Gloor is pleasant, very concerned with avoiding patient pain, able to provide most dental services her self, and connected with highly qualified near-by endodontists (sp?) and oral surgeons. Her assistants have also been a pleasure to work with.
